Library Mission Statement
Sa-Hali Secondary School Learning Commons is an inclusive and collaborative space that welcomes all learners. We recognize the rights of learners to develop information literacy skills which will allow them to participate fully in democratic society. To support these rights, the library commons and its staff will provide help with information seeking and provide a wide range of resources, electronic and print, that reflect the diversity of our community and the world. The learning commons will also provide space for students to ask questions, investigate, and collaborate in order to contribute new information. Our goal is to ensure that learners graduate as information literate adults who read for pleasure, who can collaborate and can solve problems, and who also have a desire to continue learning for the rest of their lives.
