FAQs
There are two book drop-off points: the main book bin in the library (beside the circulation desk) and the red book bin outside the library doors. How many books can I have and for how long?
You can sign out up to 4 books (or e-books or audio books) for up to two weeks. If you need the books longer, we'll renew them, if there isn't a hold (someone who has asked to reserve the book) for another two weeks. |
Where do I return the books?
There are two book drop-off points: the main book bin in the library (beside the circulation desk) and the red book bin outside the library doors. Which printer should I send print jobs to?
Please choose the "library" printer. If you wish to print a colour page, it costs $1 a page and should be sent to "library-c" after paying for the page. See the circulation desk to pay for print jobs. Why am I being billed for a book?
We issue bills for lost books (which have been overdue for a very long time) and damaged books. If you accidentally lose or damage a book, please let us know right away. We refund paid fines if the book is found and returned. If you have a concern about a bill, please talk to our library staff. When are you open?
We open at 7:50 a.m. most mornings, and are open until 3:30 p.m. or later, unless staff meetings or other meetings prevent this. |
